The girl leafs through the notebook again and goes back to the words "I don't know where I am, I don't know who I am, I just know I am." She circles the last two words as if affirming that she exists. But does she really? More questions about time and existence arise when she experiments with the sandglass and passing cars, and discovers that the cars disappear when she turns the sandglass over.
